i’m a Senior Producer at The Martin Agency in Richmond, VA. i’m passionate about facilitating and executing interesting creative projects in any form. making cool shit with cool people is what gets me outta bed in the morning.
i really like bulleted lists (and the way a lowercase “i” looks in this font), so i’m just gonna stick with that:
first, i should provide a little history:
grew up in the suburbs of Detroit as a classically-trained cellist & an Eagle Scout
got my BA @ Wayne State University
worked in concerts for a decade before moving to advertising
lived in the Cass Corridor in the heart of Detroit for 18 years & got to watch the city grow and evolve around me (& tbh i like to think I was a part of that growth, which is a really cool feeling)
decided in 2021 it was time to get the heck out of my hometown and seek my fortune elsewhere
then maybe i should talk about some hobbies, too:
i’ve always been a big music nerd, and i love going to concerts and finding new and interesting music (hence the working in concerts thing)
i love to travel and experience new places and get out of my comfort zone and try new weird foods
i like playing disc golf and wandering around in the woods a whole bunch
camping too
sometimes hiking, but idk that can be a lot
lotta other geeky stuff
reading sci-fi & fantasy
board games, especially the big dense strategy ones
video games
maybe i just love escapism?
finally, i should probably beat my chest a little:
in 2026 I got to be an AICP judge for the Monologue/Dialogue/Spoken Word category, which was really fun and such a huge honor.
The Martin Agency sent me to Cannes to watch my Snoop spot win some Lions, that was super sick
Martin also awarded me with one of our quarterly employee awards for FIRE for excellence, for which i was nominated by my peers, which felt really good.
really though, what i like to brag about most is just getting to travel the world and make cool shit with cool people. i wanna do that more.
